The Government has announced that Nurseries and Primary Schools can re open from 1st June under strict conditions and to reduced numbers on site. Truro Nursery will re open in line with the information below:

From 1st – 5th June we will be closed to ALL children so that we can prepare in order to operate as safely as possible e.g. carry out heath and safety checks, undertake a thorough clean and prepare the spaces for children and families.

To implement the government guidance, we are having to work in small groups known as ‘bubbles’. These are small groups of children and staff members who stay together all the time and do not mix with other bubbles.

From 8th June we are able to offer a maximum of 24 places. This will be operated in 3 x bubbles of up to 8 children at any one time. Each bubble will have their own changing area and toilet. There will be outside access but children will be taken outside at specific times so as to avoid mixing with others.

As we are only able to operate with 24 places we have prioritised the spaces in the first instance to families where there is at least 1 key worker on the government key worker list first: followed by others prioritising the eldest children first.
